Alexander D’Oleo Gabriel

Managing Partner

Founder and Managing Partner of DHOZ Abogados, Alexander D’Oleo Gabriel has recognized experience in Real Estate, Commercial, Corporate, and Family Law. His professional practice includes advising on municipal and commercial regulations in the Dominican Republic, drafting and negotiating contracts, as well as structuring business operations and foreign investment.

He has led legal crisis management processes and debt negotiations, advising clients in highly complex situations and providing strategic legal solutions to companies and individuals.

He currently serves as the Honorary Consul of Peru in Punta Cana, with jurisdiction over La Altagracia and La Romana. Between 2016 and 2020, he served as Secretary of the Municipal Council of the Tourist District of Verón-Punta Cana, in the province of La Altagracia.

Saymi Lahoz Lahoz

Specializing in corporate and business law, Saymi Lahoz Lahoz has focused her practice on the regulations governing commercial companies in the Dominican Republic and their various activities. She has extensive experience in corporate restructuring and transformation processes, as well as in Intellectual Property, negotiations, and contracts in civil and commercial matters.

Throughout her career, she has held leadership positions in renowned firms and corporations, including:

Lawyer, graduated Cum Laude from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in 2001. She obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Law and Economic Legislation from the same university in 2005, strengthening her background in corporate and business law.

In 2006, she completed a Diploma in Intellectual Property offered by FINJUS-APEC, which allowed her to deepen her knowledge in the protection of intangible assets and copyright. Later, in 2013, she earned an MBA from Barna Business School, in partnership with the University of Barcelona, broadening her strategic and business management perspective.

Her academic background reflects a solid combination of legal specialization and business administration training, enabling her to provide comprehensive advice to local and international companies in various areas of corporate law.

Her first children’s book, Where Is Eleonora?, is a non-profit project through which braille literacy materials have been donated to children with visual impairments, low vision, and deafblindness in the eastern region of the Dominican Republic. The work also seeks to serve as a means to promote and celebrate Dominican culture.

Yuneisy Palenzuela Montero

Yuneisy Palenzuela has extensive experience in coordination and administrative management in the areas of Criminal, Civil, Labor and Administrative Law, having worked in the Public Prosecutor’s Office (2005-2015); as a real estate agent (2015-2016); and as administrative manager of service companies (2016-2021).

Doctor of Law from the University of Havana, Cuba (2005). Holds postgraduate diplomas in Training for the Exercise of Prosecutorial Functions, Commercial Law and International Negotiation, Public Administration, and Evaluation of Evidence in Criminal Law.
